There is a reason why that old adage still holds today: because it’s true. In design, time comes into play at every step of the process. Great design takes research (on your end and mine). It takes inspiration. It takes planning. And all of those things take time.

My process starts with you filling out a brief questionnaire that will help determine where you are in the planning and research stages. After that, we follow with a conversation about your project, in person if possible. These both serve to help us get to know each other a bit better, which I find essential — especially when working through email.

From there, we will lay out a course of action that is best in terms of your project, your budget, and any time constraints. The actual art process begins with determining your likes and dislikes, then progesses through the details of fonts & colors. After that, I’ll present you with drafts and mockups, and then we’ll progress to the editing rounds. Before you know it, your vision will be realized, in print or web form…
